THE LIONS ARE CROWNED CHAMPIONS!!!
St. Mark's BZ (Condy Bao, Catherine Zhang) went 4-2 in the prelim rounds, and clinched four crucial wins in the elimination rounds to secure the school's first ever championship!
After going 2-0 on the first day, the team had a little slump in the second day finishing 2-2. Still, the team was able to advance with an overall record of 4-2. In the elimination round, they beat all of their opponents using grit and strength to finally reach the finals, where they agreed to be co-champions.
At the same time, St. Mark's CH(Lori Cui, Kaien Hung) went 4-2 in the prelim rounds too, and was able to advance into elimination rounds without any problems. In the elims, they regrettably lost on a 1-2 vote in quarterfinals; nevertheless, they finished in the top 8 among fierce competitions!
The lions finished with an overall record of 13-5, a whopping win rate of over 72%!
